When should maternity photos be taken?

I advise booking in your session for when you are around 34 weeks pregnant. We ideally want a nicely shaped bump, but it's important to me that you can still move (relatively) comfortably.

I don't have very many maternity dresses that I like. Can you provide outfits?

My collection of maternity dresses and outfits is there for you! I have a client wardrobe for clients who don't want to splurge on expensive outfits they'll only wear once for a photoshoot.

Can my partner and other children be in the photos too?

Of course they can! This is a momentous occasion for the whole family and if you like we can even have it outdoors. Pets are welcome too.

Do you do bump to baby packages?

I don't currently offer maternity and newborn packages but you do get money off the newborn session with my top maternity package.

Natural, gentle maternity photoshoots to honour the season you’re in

Pregnancy is full of transformation - quiet, powerful, sometimes overwhelming, often beautiful. It’s not about perfect bumps or posed silhouettes (unless you want those, of course). It’s about capturing the beginning of your baby’s story, and you in this moment: soft, strong, waiting, changing.

My maternity photography sessions in Cornwall are relaxed and fun. We can shoot in natural light at my home studio in Grampound (near Truro) or outdoors somewhere that feels good to you - a favourite Cornish beach, a field, a quiet woodland path. Sessions are slow-paced and a lovely way to connect with your baby, partner and family before your little one arrives.

You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do - just come as you are. I’ll guide where needed, and the rest will unfold naturally.

Whether you’re documenting your first baby or your last, these images will become part of the story your child gets to know - the love that grew before they arrived.

I offer two packages for maternity photoshoots: the Mini and the Full.

Mini maternity session - £199

If you are just wanting a handful of photos capturing your pregnancy, book a mini maternity session, including:

30 minutes in the studio (or surrounding countryside),
5 edited digital images

Full Maternity Experience - £399

If you would like to have a fuller experience including pets, children, at a location of your choice, then book the Full Maternity Experience, including:

Access to my outfits collection,
60-90 minutes with me, in the studio or outdoor location (within 10 miles),
The full gallery of edited images from the session (around 30+).
Newborn session fee included (worth £65).

Your high resolution edited images are provided via a downloadable online gallery.

Your maternity photoshoot should be a relaxed and enjoyable experience. To help with this I provide you with a carefully written prep guide full of tips based on my 10+ years of experience.

You are welcome to borrow dresses & outfits from my client wardrobe too - you don’t need to bring anything, I’ve got you!
