A baby photo shoot outdoors in Cornwall is the best. But it's hard to say how many times the phrase 'fingers crossed' is used when planning one. A lot! The Cornwall weather forecasts are checked often in the week leading up to the day and plan B's hover at the back of our minds. But once again, the crossed fingers resulted in a beautiful sunny morning, and we were able to have Charlie's sitter session on the beach. The wind was blowing strong and cold, and despite streaming eyes and nose, Charlie handled it like a pro!
Almost 8 months old already, he's changed heaps since I saw him for his last baby milestone session 4 months ago. We went down to one of my local beaches - Pendower - and sat him on the sand with dad standing by to catch him whenever he toppled over. For the most part he sat up really well and apart from having to have his nose wiped countless times, he was loving it. I was happy to get to use my rustic wood bowl for the first time too!
Another beautiful family, gorgeous baby, lovely location. The photos take themselves! (no, not really, but you know what I mean). I now get to look forward to his first birthday portrait session, and the last in his bump to baby package. I'll save the sobs for then!!
Here are some from the beach. And if you or anyone you know are interested in booking a 'Watch me Grow' bump to baby photography package, get in touch!
