Location scouting near Truro, Cornwall

With the winter now behind us and Spring making tentative efforts to arrive (despite the odd crazy wild storm), outdoor shoots are going to be a lot more frequent.  I have a maternity shoot scheduled next weekend and before I suggested the location I had in mind, I thought I'd better go and make sure it's still accessible and looking ok.  I took Ben with me, now that he's old enough to go on small walks, and we had a lovely afternoon!

A friend introduced this walk to me years ago.  We did the full return route from Tresillian to the Heron Inn in Malpas and back. It is a beautiful place to go - the paths follow the Fal estuary through the woods, through St Clements and on to Malpas.  It does get quite 'off-road' towards Malpas though so not advised if you're wanting a gentle stroll.  Ben and I only went along a very short way but it all looked great and I can't wait for Saturday!

I'm always on the look out for places that have beautiful natural scenery, and can be reached easily.  Bluebells are coming soon and I'm on the hunt for those locations too!

If you know of any beautiful spots you think I should check out, comment below or send me a message!  Outdoor sessions include maternity, babies, children and families.
